I have a Masters Degree in Counseling, nearly 20 years experience as a therapist, and was a local church pastor for 23 years. My background includes thousands of hours counseling individuals and couples. I have also provided counseling supervision for five counselors, received advanced training in pre-marital preparation, and am a certified Grief Recovery specialist. Additionally, I was the founder of local Divorce Recovery groups for both adults and children of divorce, and a group for men with sexual addiction issues. I am licensed in NJ by the Board of Marriage and Family Therapy as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), and am recognized as a Board Certified Professional Christian Counselor (BCPCC) with the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC). I am also a participating counselor in the Counseling Referral Networks of "Focus on the Family" and "New Life Ministries".

I use a variety of traditional methods of counseling, including both psychodynamic and cognitive behavioral therapy.
